Origins of SUUTB - The TeamHack 2001 compo

Set Up Us The Bomb was made for the Allegro Team Competition 2001, so the base engine was written in less than 4 days. A lot of the game has changed since, and we (Team Zig) are almost done coding the game. The game is sort of a cross in between Mario Kart's battle mode, Bomberman, and Worms. You control a hovercraft-type pod, and run around an arena trying to blast your opponents into oblivion! Hit animals to get powerups, and watch them splatter blood all over the place. Pick up bombs, magnetic bombs, bomb launchers, seeking bombs, try to blow up other players while evading their own aresenals. Supports 1-4 players (via split screen), A.I. (artificial idiocy), fully 3D, and multi-lingual (English, French, and Spanish). No files are yet aailable, but it's known to compile under Windows, DOS, Linux and X.
